Day
01 : Delhi-Bharatpur
Meals: on own
Drive in the morning to Bharatpur (4 hours). Check in at Bharatpur Forest Lodge. Rest of the birding in the Keoladeo National Park with a guide. Overnight stay.
Day 02 : Bharatpur-National Chambal Sanctuary
Meals: on own
Morning birding with a guide in the park. Leave for National Chambal Sanctuary after lunch via Agra (Taj Mahal visit is optional). The drive is about 3 hours to get to Chambal Safari Lodge. Overnight stay.
Day 03 : National Chambal Sanctuary-Delhi
Meals: on own
Morning boat cruise on river Chambal to see the Indian Skimmer, black-bellied tern, bar-headed goose and other waterfowl. The area is also known for Gangetic dolphin, 5 species of turtles, marsh and fish-eating crocodiles etc. Drive back to Delhi via Agra (6 hours) in the afternoon. Arrive Delhi in the evening.
Harike National Park
2 nights & 2 days

Day 01 Delhi-Amritsar
Connect afternoon train to Amritsar at 1600 hours. Arrive Amritsar at 2230 hours. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 02 Harike National Park
You will be transferred to Harike (2 hours). Full day birding at Harike. One can expect to find yellow-eyed pigeon, penduline tit, rufous-vented prinia, Indian Skimmer, striated grassbird etc. Return to Amritsar in the evening. Connect overnight train to Delhi at 2100 hours. Overnight in train.
Day 03 Amritsar-Delhi
Arrive Delhi at 0630 hours.
