Are you planning to visit Uganda? This is the destination that you will visit and enjoy all what you would expect on trip seeing the wildlife and primates and take Self Drive in Uganda with 4×4 Car Hire Uganda which knows the best place go for your holiday. I and my family, last year 2015 in the school holiday month of June we visited Uganda the “Pearl of Africa” on self drive option and our services provider was none other than 4×4 Car Hire Uganda that customized us a best holiday visiting most of Uganda’s best tourist attractions.
Our point of visit was the Murchison Falls National Park, and before we reached this park we took an amazing en-route stop over at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where we experienced the foot Rhino tracking and after we had the lunch and later we drove to the park and upon our arrival through the Budongo forest you can spot birds, primates and the welcoming view of the River Nile. As we had booked our overnight stay Fort Murchison Camp, situated at the Northern bank of the park and we took the 30 minutes ferry crossing and as we were driving to our lodge we took en-route evening photographic game drive spotting the African wildlife and taking the unforgettable sunset sun downer photography and I cannot recommend enough but this is a nice safari camp to stay.
Early morning we had very early hot coffee and we started our game drive looking for the wildlife species like the lions, elephants, buffaloes, water and bush bucks, warthogs and various species of birds. This experience takes 3 -4 hours and after drive to the shores of the River Nile and take the packed lunch as we were waiting for our afternoon boat cruise, and then at around 2 pm we took a boat ride along the shores of the River Nile towards the bottom of the falls and on this cruise we experienced the wildlife like the elephants. Though we did not take this experience but it is awesome experience to those that are good at hiking and this is none other than the “Hike to the top of the falls”. Therefore as you reach the top especially those on escorted trip with guide, you will find the vehicle on top waiting for you and drive you back to your lodge as you take evening game drive and luck enough you will find the rare animals like leopard we found moving along the road.
After being filled with the wildlife experience the next day we traveled to Kibale Forest National Park via Masindi – Hoima town, though the road in between is not so good but the 4×4 WD vehicle from 4×4 Car Hire Uganda was so marvelous to hit the journey and then we arrived in the forest in evening at Kibale Forest Camp well situated in cool environment and then in the next day we experienced the unforgettable chimpanzee trekking and then in the evening we took the Bigodi wetland walk looking for other primates and birds.
The Kabalore region having very many touristic areas we had to stay one more day visiting the undulating Crater Lakes in the Nyakasura village and it is here you find the stalagmites and stalactites and offer the amazing history about the Chwezi dynasty and after we spent our night stay at the Lake Nkuruba Camp site and your stay at this campsite you will feel the beautiful nature of the region. Thereafter on our last day passed Fort portal – Mubende- Mityana road we returned to Entebbe and well arranged program we transferred to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we stayed in the well positioned safari tents overlooking Lake Victoria.
Lastly, we experienced the morning view of chimpanzee feeding session and after we embarked the speed boat returning back Entebbe and upon our arrival at the water front club, Moses was ready waiting for us to take us for the African lunch and after dropped us to the airport for our return flight back home and I want to thank Moses and his team for their very reliable services and I highly recommend to anyone would wish to visit Uganda either on self drive or guided safari.
